It’s been just over two months since my last update, and I thought I would make a post on what has been going on. Since my foray into becoming a full-time freelancer after GenCon, I’ve been inundated with a lot of work. Obviously, updating this website should be a large portion of building up my reputation, by providing (hopefully) awesome content to my readers. The sheer amount of work made that pretty much impossible since September rolled around, but in a good way.
As a heads up, here are some of the projects I’ve got coming down the pipe in the next few months:
Pathfinder Player Companion: Agents of Evil
I have to thank Owen KC Stephens for the opportunity to write for this book. Owen contacted me in July to work on this book, and while him and I talked on numerous occasions, I’d never had the chance to work with him. Owen showed incredible trust in me, by offering me a stab at writing the entire Player Companion—something I’d later find out was a first in the series!
I’d love to gush about the contents of the book, and how Crystal Frasier did an amazing job of developing it… but I’m going to save that for something that you should be seeing in the near(ish) future!
Pathfinder Society Special: True Dragons of Absalom
(Cover taken from Paizo.com, file contains an actual cover, I swear!)
If you attended GenCon, it’s likely you got to play through this scenario. As one of this year’s many Pathfinder Society special events, it will be available throughout the year at select events which qualify to run it. I’ve been involved with Pathfinder Society specials for some time now, and it was a great privilege to write one of this year’s events. Planning out the insanity with John months beforehand, only to have it be developed by Linda Zayas-Palmer (who did a fantastic job with my random words) made for one of the stronger PFS items I’ve put together.
Seriously, you get to play as kobolds. What’s not to love?!
Pathfinder Adventure Path #104: Wrath of Thrune
(Placeholder cover, subject to change!)
This particular beauty is way in the past for me (well, writing wise), so I’m excited to see it in print. Right now, it looks like this will be out in March 2016, so only a few months wait!
I’m very curious to see how people react to the ‘Evil Adventure Path’, especially with Wes Schneider penning the inaugural foray into depravity!
Pathfinder Module: Ire of the Storm
(I swear, this is the last placeholder image)
The latest item from my sore fingers, is the Pathfinder Module set to release after Monica Marlowe’s Down the Blighted Path RPG Superstar winning module pitch. I can’t say much about this one, but it’s set to release in April and should be an excellent introductory adventure for new players to Pathfinder.
(See, this isn’t a placeholder.)
There’s several other unannounced projects that I can’t specifically talk about yet. I’ve got at least two other ‘big’ offerings coming over the next few months, but my name hasn’t been formally attached to them. It’s probably a safe assumption that I’ll be writing something for Pathfinder Society over the next few months… who knows?! 🙂
Oh, and there’s Aethera, which is funded and I’ll be contributing like a madman to.
So yeah, expect to see things over the coming months with my name attached to them.
Now, back to the salt mines with me…
